I have learnt many things about IT this year..
1- From the classes of the IT, i’ve learnt the difference between the Web and the Printing methods. I knew the advantages and disadvantages of both.
2- How to make a website by codes. I knew much about etc… I loved this type of websites.
3- I knew much about the web hosting, and the steps that are made to make a page like Facebook , like sending HTTP request and the DNS that converts the name into an IP which is sent to your browser etc….
4- Posting my website into Webs.com and can be shown to all people wherever they are.
5- Knowing a lot about the File Extensions, Like PDF ( Portable Document Format ) and GIF, TIFF, JPEG, PNG Etc,,
6- Outside our syllabus, I knew about Artificial Intelligence, and that it is entering intelligence for machines, and about John McCarthy who coined this term.
7- How to insert some hardware in my CPU, like Rams and Video card, but still unprofessional. Although i damaged The CPU once, but i knew the right later 🙂
8- I went deep in Installing Windows, and finding there keys and serials, like Windows XP and Windows 7 and Vista,, Looking forward to the Macintosh 🙂
9- I went to collect a new computer, so i knew about some brands like the processors Intel and AMD, and Videocards like Nvidia or ATI, and sound cards like Realtek.
10- Finally, i learnt much about dealing with Adobe Photoshop, Changing Faces, adjusting colours, Improving the facial details….
